About Oak Point

Enjoy the day playing 18 holes on the beautiful Oak Point Golf Course at Kiawah. Overlooking stunning vistas, Oak Point recently received a near-perfect 4 1/2 stars from the readers of Golf Digest magazine in their biennial “Best Places to Play” poll where it was rated one of the best values in South Carolina.

Completely renovated in 2015, Oak Point is reminiscent of the classic courses of the 1920s where strategic play will serve you better than pure power. Your team’s ability to place the ball at a certain spot of the green or fairway will prove advantageous throughout the tournament.

The Cause

Supporting struggling and homeless veterans for decades, Palmetto Goodwill saw an increased need for outreach following 9/11. To fill gaps in service as veterans transitioned from military to civilian life, Goodwill and America’s Warrior Project co-founded the Palmetto Warrior Connection (PWC) whose mission to ensure that those who have served, and their families, have the resources and assistance they need to secure adequate housing, successful employment, education and access to benefits. Since its inception in 2014, PWC has facilitated care for thousands of Post 9/11 Warriors and their families and helped them achieve a better quality of life.
